The wife of a Sapper is always a special lady. We first met in Barton Stacey in 1967, where we were stationed before we went to Malta. Cathy my wife used to have lunch at her house as she worked at the local "Pitt" trailers, it was usually a bit too far to the camp for us men to get home. The parties she held at weekends always went down well. We lost touch for a while until we moved to Kent and she had not changed. May she now rest in peace. Cathy and Mick Mann
